Principles

1. Highest Truth

Paramsat means highest truth and the platform is built for one to pursue that in one's endeavour. The work takes precedence, not a person or social feed.

2. No Vanity Metrics

No likes, follows, view count or subscribers. If they are there, work bends towards satisfying that metric and is thence tainted.

3. No Social

The platform isn't to divert one's thoughts or an ego massage. No feed, no following, no notifications. One comes to work, or to read, and leaves undisturbed.

4. Pure Focus on the Project

A Lab holds projects and a project holds the work and the writing around it, in order. The site is built to further the project.

5. The Artifact Comes First

A published artifact is the unit of work: Markdown and its media, which can always be taken away whole. Its address does not change.

6. Responses, Not Comments

A reply is itself an artifact, linked to what it answers, and written with the same care.

7. Visibility Is Deliberate

Reading is public and publishing is an explicit act. Nothing becomes public without its author choosing it.
